Welcome to our blog solely devoted to our newest addition to the family, Rylee.

Against the popular trend we opted for keeping the gender a surprise. Over the 9 months preparing for "it" to come I was determined to share with our baby my love for owls & monsters, figuring both were gender neutral. This being the inspiration for the name of our blog.


I was very ecstatic when I found an over abundance of owl things for babies, everywhere I looked it seemed I was calling my husband, Sevio, over to come see the coolest, cutest owl onesie, sleeper, hat, bedding, you name it I found it shaped like an owl!


I am very sad to say I wasn't so lucky in the monster department, but my love for them prevailed and I'm determined to raise my child with cute squeezable loving monsters rather than the normal run of the mill plastic barbies.


So join us in our journey to raise our one of kind blessing which was given to us November 10, 2011 at 2:55am... our beautiful, wonderful, joyful, little girl!
