Rylee Turns Five : 20 Questions

Thursday, November 10, 2016

As our kids get older, each year we like to give them the "20 Question" interview. We ask them the same questions each year, each year the answers change, because they change, and that's the point... to see how much they change each year! I'm really looking forward to comparing their answers from these early years to say five, ten years from now.

Check out other Rylee's past interviews or other kids interviews here.

Its amazing watching her grow and seeing her character develop. She is a born leader, great trait, but it stresses me out haha, how do you parent that without squashing it!?

20 Questions

Saturday, November 9, 2013

I'm all about making memories that will last, so this year for Rylee's birthday I've decided to do something for her that I can give her years down the road...maybe for graduation or the day she gets married!

Every year on her birthday I will ask her the same 20 questions and eventually put it all together in a photobook for a cute keepsake for her (and us).

The second thing I plan to do every year will be to write her a letter of how great I think she is and all the milestones she hit throughout her past year (these letters I will keep hidden away till the day I give it to her).

20 Questions for Rylee : Year Two

Find Of The Day

Saturday, March 23, 2013

On a little trip to the recycling depot today with my sister I found my most favourite children's book, The Jolly Postman, in the little freecycle book stand! I was SO excited, I was actually just looking to order this book for Rylee a few weeks ago and was blown away by how much it is ($17.99)!! Can you believe that, for a children's book!?! Granted its a great book, but SERIOUSLY!

Anyways, it's alllll mine (well Rylee's) and it didn't cost me a penny!! I also got Mother Goose Nursery Rhymes and a book of Children's Classic Poetry to add to Rylee's stash of books.
