Outfit Of The Day // St.Patty's Inspired Looks

Wednesday, March 12, 2014

It's that day of the week again! I'm really enjoying these posts, it's like going shopping every week without the stress of spending any money. I only wish these items would magically appear in our closets!

This weeks OOTD features looks inspired by St.Patrick's Day (which is in 4 days btw). Last week you saw kid's wear rockin' the festive green, so this week with the same theme in mind I bring you looks for the big kids! Enjoy and Happy St.Patrick's Day!

Outfit Of The Day // Keepin' It Green

Wednesday, March 5, 2014

Keepin' true to my Irish roots I was inspired for this weeks OOTD by St.Patrick's Day, which is just around the corner. I think these outfits showcase a great way to wear green which can be a bit overwhelming if your not used to color, and to do it without all the tacky shamrock garb.

Stay tuned for next weeks Ladie's and Men's St.Patty's inspired outfits!

P.S. St.Patty's Day is March 17th, don't forget less you be pinched.

Outfit of the Day // Adventure Awaits

Wednesday, February 19, 2014

I've been playing with this idea for awhile now, and I'm ready to put it in to action. Every Wednesday I'm going to share with you some fashion style/outfits that are good for the whole family!

Each week I'll alternate between featuring outfits for Ladies + Men, and Boys + Girls. These styles are a glimpse of my style, or style I dream of having but lack the funds, in that case its a glimpse into one of my favourite hobbies, window shopping!

This week I'll start with Boys + Girls that is inspired from Baby Gap's latest line called "Paddington Bear : Adventure Awaits". Now normally I steer clear of Gap, never been a huge fan, but this line is the cutest! And its styled after my favourite childhood bear!

Hope you enjoy!

Bringing Back An Age Old Hobby

Wednesday, May 9, 2012

Over the last week and a half I have been working on a new creation... legwarmers! I have knitted off and on over the years but I had never made anything circular like this.

I found a pattern and I purchased some bamboo/wool blend yarn (sustainable, and so soft making it feel great on baby's skin) but I had no idea how to work 4 double ended needles. So when in doubt I call on my mom to endow on me her knitting wisdom. She taught me her ways in a matter of minutes, I was amazed it was so easy!

I haven't had a whole lot of time to work on them but I try and find snippets of time when I've got my hands free like in the car or right before I go to bed.  Over the weekend I finished one and I'm so excited to finish the next one because I can't wait to get them on Rylee's legs and then start the next pair that will be an eggshell blue, and then ones with stripes, and then maybe ones with polka dots... ahhh the colors and patterns are endless!!

I love it and double awesome... this hobby could be the stemmings of an entrepreneur stay-at-home mommy
