Dependent Independence

Our little girl may be small but she sure is strong. I pulled out this toy just the other day and she was drawn in almost immediately by the bright colors and it wasn't long after that she was completely ignoring the beads and going dare-devil on me by attempting to pull herself up on it.

I was wowed and nervous all at once because she only just started crawling and now she wants to stand up on her own! She's not the dependent little infant anymore, she a striving for independence soon to be toddler. Lots of head bonks and falls are coming our way at what seems super speed!
