Baby's Digital Footprint Infographic

This past week Shutterfly shared with me this infographic that has been made up based on a survey of parents of kids ages 0‐12 months. It provides some fun and interesting information for everyone (parent or not).

Being a family/mommy blogger I am clearly all about sharing the little and big moments our family experiences. In fact, the reason I started this blog was to document this journey through life's firsts, keeping an online journal so‐to‐speak that we and our kids can look back on. So reading through some of these stats on where other parents stand with social sharing of their kids lives, and when and how they go about it was quite interesting.

  1. Definitely some fun facts! All of my baby photos are in albums somewhere, and I'm almost sure my dad took all of them (my mom can barely work the camera).

p.s. I'm hosting a fun giveaway on my blog this week: http://chinupbuttercup.org/2013/12/16/soft-ginger-cookies-a-giveaway/

I don't even know where my baby pics are stored, I know my sister claimed some thinking they were of her :P

  2. Interesting facts. It makes me think twice about sharing my daughter's photos to the world hah. Have you used Shutterfly?

  3. I know what you mean Jasam! I tried not to get to paranoid about it and just be careful with what pictures I post and make sure if there are other kids in them to get their parents permission first before posting.

and yes, I've used a couple different company's for photobooks and cards (apple, vistaprint, and shutterfly) and by far shutterfly wins! its good quality, affordable (and has deals all the time!), and has many options when it comes to themes or custom projects.
