Every weekend we try and take Rylee to her favourite place in Bangkok, the park. We rent a mat, get cold drinks (thai tea for Daddy, green tea for Mommy, and fresh squeezed orange juice for Rylee), and find a nice shady spot near the playground.
I just love seeing Rylee get to run free outdoors and interact with kids of all nationalities. This week in particular was a special one as we made friends with a group of Thai kids who seemed instantly enamoured with our kids. I joked around that one girl could be our nanny, she was a natural with Zach, she's gonna be a great momma someday. Sevio found common ground with two boys who were very into European soccer teams, forget English all you need is the names of famous soccer stars to get their eyes to light up with excitement. We also met another boy, who was more to himself strumming away on his guitar, but it's name that made him stand out to us, God, talk about big shoes to fill with that name!
