It's someone's birthday today!! Adelyne is officially one month old! She's been growing like a weed, at her last check up she weighed in at 9 lbs. 7 oz.
Over the course of one month she has proven herself to be quite the night owl staying up regularily till 1am! It's brutal! I've had to bite the bullet and buy a swing to help with her night time shannigans... it's helping, but we're still miles away from going to bed at a decent hour.
Over the last week she's been giving us more smiles, real ones not just the "I just passed gas" ones. She loves bath time, she's learning how to take a soother, and has eyes that feel like they stare into your soul.
Her brother and sister have warmed up to her well, almost too well! I'm always pulling them off of her as they smother her with hugs and kisses! Both Rylee and Zach want to help with diapers and think a soother smushed in her face will make her cries all better... They are pretty cute how they try to take care of their baby sister.
