We celebrated a very low key Fathers Day this year. Rylee immediately upon waking up jumped out of bed to get her surprise she had created the day before. It was a very cute proud moment for her to deliver her lawnmower brownie to her Daddy in bed.
After dessert in bed we made him a smoothie, blueberry pancakes, and bacon and enjoyed breakfast all together. Then for a good chunk of the day we played outside, the kids getting some much needed fun Daddy time.
For the evening we had some friends over for a backyard picnic, which was awesome. It wasn't a spectacular day full of events, but it was a fantastic day of unwinding and coming together as a family... which is just what we were needing!
